In December 2017, Mr. Bags and Longchamp design team collaborated to produce the ‘Year of Dog’ Chinese New Year Collection. The collection consisted of a black travel bag, medium size black, powder blue and pastel pink tote, and a clutch version, which can be used as a bag charm. Mr. Bags reinterpreted Longchamp’s iconic styles and added a pair of playful paw prints on the front.
This was Mr. Bags’ first global and omnichannel collaboration. The collection was available worldwide including China, France, Italy, Singapore, and many more, a total of 10 different countries and regions. Within the first two hours, online sales already exceeded RMB 5 million, which was a new milestone for both Mr. Bags and Longchamp.
